Graduate students learn and apply advanced, research-based practices in the management of the literacy classroom, including enhancing student motivation in literacy learning, understanding the impact of behavioral and inclusive principles, and creating a process to make data-based instructional decisions. Special emphasis will be placed on the processes involved in the use of Multi-Tiered System of Support, and specifically Georgia’s Tiered System of Supports for Students.
