EDUC 4803 Internship in Secondary School English

This course provides a field-based internship in diverse settings, focusing on English/Language Arts instruction including planning instruction as mandated by State curriculum for secondary English, implementing a variety of research-based instructional strategies including the effective use of technology and developing assessments for student learning through experiences in 6-12 grade settings. 

Note: A minimum of 250 hours in a school setting is required. 

Prerequisites: Formal acceptance into the Bachelor of Science or Arts Teacher Certification track, Pass Checkpoint 3 and hold a valid Pre-Service Certificate
