EDUC 3550 Assessment for Learning

In this course teacher candidates will design, select, and administer assessments for learning. In addition, candidates will learn to use assessment results to make instructional decisions, plan instructional activities, and develop appropriate grading practices. Particular focus will be upon communication of results to students, parents, and other educators. The use of technology is required. This course is aligned with state and national standards.  

Prerequisites: Formal acceptance into the Bachelor of Science or Arts Teacher Certification Track, Pass Checkpoint 3 and hold a valid Pre-Service Certificate
