Graduate Students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA). Graduate transfer work is subject to department approval. Any approved transfer work will be considered when calculating SAP eligibility.
A student’s financial aid GPA may differ from their academic GPA. Academic renewal does not impact the calculation of the financial aid GPA, or attempted hours, since all hours are considered in components of the SAP policy. Grades not associated with quality points (e.g. I, F, W, WF) cannot be used to calculate the financial aid GPA. These grades do count as attempted hours.
