Eligibility

A student may be eligible for financial aid under the following conditions:

1. A student must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible noncitizen.
2. Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a regular student in an eligible degree or certificate program.
3. Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
4. Demonstrate financial need for need-based aid programs.
5. Male students between the ages of 18-26 must register for selective service if applicable.
6. A student must not be in default or owe a balance from a federal or state program.

Undergraduate students enrolled in a certificate program requiring less than one academic year to complete are not eligible to receive federal student aid. Grant funds through a state aid program may be available to assist with educational expenses.
