Verification
After a student submits a FAFSA, the application may be selected for a review process called verification. This is a process in which a student’s federal tax information and other income sources are requested for review by the Office of Financial Aid. This information is compared responses on a their FAFSA. It is important to submit all requested information as quickly as possible so as not to delay the process of determining a student’s eligibility for federal student aid.
