Federal Aid Programs
• Pell Grant - A federal grant awarded to undergraduate students for post-secondary education. Pell Grants are awarded based on financial need. This grant may be eligible to students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree. The amounts vary based on a student’s Student Aid Index (SAI). A student may not receive a Pell Grant at more than one college during the same enrollment period. A FAFSA should be submitted each academic year as eligibility for the Pell Grant may change.
• Federal Student Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) - A limited federal fund that can provide additional grant money to an undergraduate student’s financial aid package. This is a need-based grant. A FAFSA should be submitted each academic year as eligibility for this grant may change.
