BIOL 3710K Animal Physiology

This is an examination of the physiological processes which contribute to whole animal homeostasis. This course will compare the strategies and adaptations used by different animals to meet the challenges of circulation, gas exchange, metabolism, temperature regulation, water balance, sensation, and locomotion in the context of their environments. Emphasis will be on the integrative actions of the nervous and endocrine systems. 

Prerequisites: A grade of a C or better in BIOL 2108K
