Program Admissions Requirements Doctor of Science In Information Technology

In addition to meeting the General Admissions Requirements for Graduate Study the applicant must have or provide:

  1.  A Statement of Purpose: a written statement of the applicant's professional goals and commitment to completing the degree requirements.*
  2. Two recommendations from individuals familiar with the student's academic and technical abilities.
  3.  An M.S. degree in a discipline related (or closely related) to Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, etc.) conferred by an institutionally accredited institution.
  4.  A grade point average of 3.0 or greater (on a scale of 4.0) on all graduate coursework.
  5.  Three to five years of relevant work experience required in a leadership or management role that includes formal supervision.
  6.  Current résumé.
