Program Admission Requirements Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT)

Applicants to the MSOT Bridge Program must submit a portfolio including all of the following:

1. Complete and submit OTCAS Application

2. Complete official MGA Graduate Application

3. Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above (overall GPA and in prerequisite courses)

4. All prerequisite courses completed with a grade of C or higher

5. Minimum of 84 semester equivalent credits (includes courses from OTA degree and prerequisite courses) from an institution that is accredited by a USDE recognized accrediting agency; 43 of these hours may be OTA courses

6. Proof of a minimum of 1-year full-time experience working as a licensed COTA (or a minimum of 1,500 hours working as a fully licensed COTA)

7. Current résumé or curriculum vitae

8. Personal Statement as prompted by OTCAS

9. Three Letters of Recommendation as prompted by OTCAS (professional and/or academic)

10. Copy of current U.S. professional occupational therapy assistant license and NBCOT certification*

11. Background check

12. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities

13. An interview may be required at the discretion of the Admissions Committee

*Licensure and certification indicate successful completion of the NBCOT Certification Exam for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
