Registering for Classes
During the published registration period on the academic calendar students may register online via their SWORDS account.
Please login to your SWORDS account to check student registration status, register for courses, drop or withdraw from courses. Banner / SWORDS: Middle Georgia State University (mga.edu)

How to check your registration status:
Login to SWORDS > Click on 'Registration' > Click on 'Prepare to Register' > Select a Term from the drop-down menu and hit continue > Review current registration status
How to register for classes:
*After coursework advisement, Login to SWORDS and follow the step-by-step directions located here: Course Registration Directions
How to review your student detailed schedule:
Login to SWORDS > Click on 'Student Profile' > Under student image click on 'Student Schedule' > Enter your student identification number, schedule term, and click on 'Display Schedule'
How to drop or withdrawal from a class:
Follow the same directions listed above for Course Registration Directions. Once you are in the 'Enter Your Search Criteria' box, click on the light gray Schedule and Options tab along the top of the box. The student summary schedule should pop up. On the far right, click on the drop-down menus and choose the action you wish to take for each course, click on submit.
