NURS 3000 Introduction to Professional Nursing (2-0-2)

This course focuses on the major concepts incorporated into the role of the professional nurse in working with individuals, families, and groups. Emphasis is on the nursing process, decision-making, communication, empathy, teaching/learning, legal considerations, professional standards, and ethical expectations for nurses.
