Middle Georgia State University Foundation, Inc.
The Middle Georgia State University Foundation oversees the university’s philanthropic assets and activities. Gifts to the Foundation are used to provide scholarships and opportunities for deserving students; to promote excellence and achievement among faculty; to bolster public engagement which will complement our academic strengths; and to support and promote academic success and scholarship. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees comprised of community leaders who raise funds and advocate for the university, and ensure responsible, effective stewardship of contributions. The Foundation is a cooperative partner with Middle Georgia State University and strives to promote and advance the mission of the university.

The Knights@Work Career Development Internship Program
The Knights@Work Career Development Internship program at Middle Georgia University offers students a guided opportunity to gain professional work experience and explore career options through supervised paid and unpaid work experiences related to their program of study. Students that complete the program receive recognition on their academic transcript for a non-credit internship course facilitated by the university’s Center for Career & Leadership Development CDIE 0999 . Students have access to a variety of resources for locating an internship, including those offered by the Center for Career & Leadership Development. Open to any major, students in the program will develop career competencies needed for future academic and workplace experiences while also clarifying their professional career interests.
