ESE 3431 Literacy Acquisition/Reading Endorsement

In this course, candidates will develop an understanding of literacy acquisition based on theories and recent research. Candidates will focus on learning experiences needed to acquire fundamental literacy skills. The class will examine theory, research, and evidence-based instructional strategies for designing and delivering literacy instruction to all students, including those with exceptionalities. This course includes a field component, technology integration, and research. This course is aligned with state and national standards.
