Creative Writing (Minor)

The minor in Creative Writing gives students broad experience in the problems and processes of writing, editing, and publishing creative work; students will write and workshop beyond the beginner's level in poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction in an intellectual setting that is challenging and nurturing. The study of creative writing will help make better teachers, writers, journalists, professionals, and graduate students. The minor in Creative Writing is available to undergraduates enrolled in any discipline or program other than Interdisciplinary Studies.
