RHAB 4100 Physical and Psychosocial Aspects of Disability

Stages of adjustment to disability, impact of age at onset, and impact on family are the main focus of this course. Students are introduced to an overview of etiology, progression and treatment of major disabling conditions related to cognition, emotion and addiction and other disorders related to the nervous system. The interplay of physical, psychosocial and vocational implications of disability will also be discussed.
