HIST 4030 European Colonization

This course covers the impact of European colonization of the Americas, Africa, and Asia in comparative perspective, including challenges to colonialism. The approach is interdisciplinary, and integrates history, economics, sociology, and geography. Students will read extensively from sources addressing multiple regions affected by European colonization.
