ENGL 0989 Foundations for English Composition

This is a course in basic grammar, punctuation, usage, mechanics, and their application in writing effective sentences and paragraphs and is designed for students who are placed by entrance test scores. Satisfactory completion of this course prepares the student for enrollment in a co-requisite ENGL 0999 and ENGL 1101 or ENGL 0997 and ENGL 1101.
