BIOL 4530K Molecular Biology
This course is an introduction to the theory and practice of molecular biology. Topics include the molecular aspects of gene structure, function, and evolution. The laboratory will include hands-on experience in which the student will perform molecular genetic analysis and manipulation, such as DNA isolation and characterization, restriction enzyme analysis, cloning, construction and selection of recombinants, and recombinant protein purification.
Prerequisite: BIOL 3540K or BIOL 3104K
