Non-Traditional Freshman Student Admission
Non -traditional freshmen are defined as individuals who:
- have been out of high school at least five years and whose high school class graduated at least five years ago;
- hold a high school diploma from an accredited or approved high school or have satisfactorily completed the GED; and,
- have earned fewer than 30 transferable semester credit hours.
Criteria for admission:
1. Non-traditional freshmen who have posted SAT scores of at least 500 in both Verbal/Critical Reading and Mathematics or ACT scores of at least 21 on both English and Mathematics within the past seven (7) years.
OR
2. Non-traditional freshman who have not successfully completed college level English and college level mathematics courses, must take the Accuplacer entrance exam, to determine eligibility and learning support placement. Accuplacer scores must generate a minimum of 4012 for the English Placement Index and a 995 for the Mathematics Placement Index.
Non-Traditional Admissions Requirements
Student must meet all the following criteria for entrance into the institution:
- Completion of high school diploma or GED.
- Completion of entrance exam.
- Minimum English Placement Index of 4012.
- Minimum Mathematics Placement Index of 995.
