BIOL 1005 Perspectives on the Environment
This course includes additional online modules to support Institutional Priority Learning Outcomes and Career Competencies. The course offers an opportunity for students to apply critical thinking skills to environmental issues and to gain experience in developing and presenting original arguments in oral forms. Topics will include discussions of how the environment is organized, problems associated with natural resources' availability and misuse, and practical strategies that could assure the sustainability of our planet. Students will learn how to evaluate critically various sources of information about the environment from several types of media.
