NURS 7700 Epidemiology and Biostatistics
This course is designed to educate students about the fundamentals of epidemiology and biostatistics. Students will develop skills that will prepare them to collect, monitor, and analyze data related to present or impending micro/macro health system issues, in efforts to assist healthcare authorities with developing appropriate and time sensitive intervention aimed at reducing negative outcomes. The course content will also provide an overview of both descriptive and inferential statistics, while evaluating the research methodology used by health care organizations and clinical professionals in their daily operations.
