CRWR 5800 Genre Writing Seminar

This course is an advanced, practical course in the writing of genre fiction. Students will focus on a specific type of genre fiction and study cornerstone authors and works in that genre, as well as apply the narrative conventions and common structures of that genre in their own writing. Examples of popular genres for this course may include crime, young adult and adult romance, science-fiction, fantasy, and horror.
