Verification
After a student submits a FAFSA, the application may be selected for a review process called verification. This is a process in which a student’s federal tax information and other income sources are requested for review by the Office of Financial Aid. This information is compared to responses on their FAFSA. It is important to submit all requested information as quickly as possible so as not to delay the process of determining a student’s eligibility for federal student aid.
