*Students may complete their training in either the Robinson R44, the CabriG2 or a combination of the two.
Flight Deposits should be made in a timely manner. If you need Financial Aid such as student loans, etc., please apply for it early to reduce the time prior to you receiving your funds. You will not be able to begin your flight training until the flight deposit is made and if it is not made within the first month of the semester, it puts you behind in your training which therefore prolongs your time in completing the program.
There is a per semester student insurance fee for flight students, refer to the Bursar's Office: Mandatory & Elective Fees for semester rates. There is a per flight course flight lab fee of $50.00. These fees are in addition to tuition and fees that are applicable to all students.
Fees are subject to change. Please see our website for the most up to date fee schedule https://www.mga.edu/aviation/science-management/flight/docs/projected_helicopter_flight_costs.pdf
NOTE: Training times listed above are absolute minimums only, but provide the most definitive cost information available at this time. Experience of our flight instructors suggests that the actual student average could be as much as 20% higher than the minimums listed above.
VA students may only be certified for and reimbursed for the required hours shown above. There are no exceptions to this rule.
