ITEC 1001 Perspectives on Computing in Society

This is an Institutional Priority course that develops key competencies in critical thinking and oral communication through an introduction to the role of computing technologies in contemporary society. The course includes additional online modules to support Institutional Priority Learning Outcomes and Career Competencies. The course will explore current and emerging technologies, people, and places involved in the evolution of the computing field with special emphasis placed on the modern societal impacts of computing.
