IDS 4900 Career Readiness in the Liberal Arts

This course is designed to prepare students with a liberal arts degree to be successful in the job market. Students will learn how to leverage their liberal arts education to navigate the job market. The course will focus on transferable skills and on developing essential career readiness skills, including resume and cover letter writing, interview techniques, professional communication, and personal branding. Students will engage in critical reflection on the intersection of their academic interests and career aspirations, identifying their unique strengths and areas for growth.
