NURS 7000 Nursing Informatics

This course is designed to educate students on the role of information systems and technology in healthcare delivery. Students will learn how to use information systems to retrieve, process, manage, secure, and share vital information with healthcare providers, facilities, patients, and families. The course will also evaluate the impact informatics has on patients and healthcare systems. Students will develop an electronic educational tool for improvement in healthcare outcomes.
