SOCW 3700 Social Welfare & Policy Practice

This course prepares students to engage in the beginning-level practice of policy-making, programming and planning. Students will develop the knowledge, skills and values necessary for policy practice and advocacy. Special attention is paid to the social, cultural, economic, and political influences on the social welfare system and policy making.
