MUSC 4999 Senior Capstone
This capstone course is designed to synthesize musical studies and must be taken during the final year of study. The course is writing intensive as students will prepare materials for their final presentation. This may include writing program notes for a standard recital, research for a lecture-recital, or case studies or other forms of research that reflect the student’s course of study, i.e. music industry. A public presentation that is representative of the student’s degree track (Performance or Music Industry) and concentration (Performance: Classical or Performance: Commercial) is required. Students in the performance track will be required to have a performance element for their presentation.
