Dual Enrollment Program (Previously Move On When Ready)
The Dual Enrollment Program enables qualified Georgia high school students to receive tuition, fees, and textbook funding for approved college courses taken through Georgia colleges. Funding is administered by the Georgia Student Finance Commission. Aviation Dual Enrollment Criteria
Applicants for admission to Aviation Maintenance Technology or Aviation Structural Technology cetificate-level Dual Enrollment programming* must:
- Submit a completed application for admission for Dual Enrollment (including approved course recommendations). Have a minimum cumulative high school grade point average of 2.0 to include all attempts in academic coursework as calculated by Middle Georgia State University for admission purposes.

Have an Accuplacer Reading Comprehension + WritePlacer score greater than or equal to 51 or have an Accuplacer Elementary Algebra score greater than or equal to 33.
- Have evidence on the high school transcript that student is on track towards completion of the College Preparatory Curriculum or the USG Required High School Curriculum requirements and high school graduation.
- Be recommended by their high school counselor or principal.
- Have the written consent of a parent or guardian (if the student is a minor).
- Provide immunization record, lawful presence documentation and any other materials required by the Office of Admissions.
* Students admitted for Aviation dual enrollment programming are only eligible to take certificate-level (AMT or AST) programming in the School of Aviation.
Dual Enrollment Admission Criteria--Commuter
Applicants for admission to the general Dual Enrollment program must:
1. Submit a completed application for admission for Dual Enrollment (including approved course recommendations). Have a minimum cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 to include all attempts in academic coursework as calculated by Middle Georgia State University for admission purposes.
2. Have an appropriate SAT, PSAT, or ACT Rest Score:
- SAT/PSAT Requirements: Combined Critical Reading/Math SAT or PSAT score of 970 (new SAT scores must be converted to old scores and then added together)
- SAT/PSAT taken before March 2016: Minimum of 430 Verbal and 400 Math
- SAT/PSAT taken from March 2016 to current: Minimum of 24 Reading and 440 Math
- ACT Requirements:
- Composite score of 20
- Minimum English score of 17; Minimum Math score of 17
3. Have evidence on the high school transcript that student is on track towards completion of the College Preparatory Curriculum or the USG Required High School Curriculum requirements and high school graduation.
4. Be recommended by their high school counselor or principal.
5. Have the written consent of a parent or guardian (if the student is a minor).
6. Provide immunization record, lawful presence documentation and any other materials required by the Office of Admissions.
