Internship (Credit: 3 hours)

An internship will be included in the requirements of the certificate program and may be gained through professional experience, a School of Health and Natural Sciences approved internship, or PBSV 4996. If an applicant has worked in a professional setting and has acquired experience related to the coursework or prescribed academic criteria, then internship credits may be applied. Internship options should be discussed with an academic advisor upon entry to the certificate program, or no later than the student's second semester of work toward the certificate.
