ARTS 3237 Graphic Design Methods

Graphic Design Methods is a continuation of ARTS 3017 and requires students to advance the knowledge gained in prerequisite and related courses. Emphasis is placed on conceptual problem solving through conventional and experimental methods, hand rendered, and on the computer. Graphic design history, technology and theory are addressed. Design is focused on as a process, a sequence of steps taken toward the final production of a design, requiring critical thinking and creative problem solving.
