Aviation Certificate Programs

Alternative admission standards apply to the aviation certificate programs. Students must meet the following alternative admission requirements:

Traditional Freshman: Graduated high school within the last 5 years and have less than 30 transferrable hours (no suspension/no dismissal)

  • HS Diploma or GED and
  • SAT old 330V/CR      310M  or
  • SATEBRW 380      360M  or
  • ACTE 12 or ACTR 12        ACTM 14M   or
  • Accuplacer NextGen:

   ACCNGR >= 217; ACCW >= 4

   ACCNGM >= 217                   

Non-Traditional Freshman: Have been out of high school 5 or more years

  • HS Diploma or GED and
  • Accuplacer NextGen:

   ACCNGR >= 217; ACCW >= 4

   ACCNGM >= 217                   

Dual Enrollment Students

  • Core HS GPA 2.0 and
  • PSAT old 330V/CR      310M  or
  • PSAT new 380V/CR      360M  or
  • SAT old 330V/CR      310M  or
  • SATEBRW 380      360M  or
  • ACTE 12 or ACTR 12        ACTM 14  or
  • Accuplacer NextGen:

   ACCNGR >= 217; ACCW >= 4

   ACCNGM >= 217                  

Transfer Students: 30+ transferable hours (no suspension/no dismissal)

  • Cumulative transfer GPA 2.0
  • <30 Transferable hours
  • Traditional Freshman and Adult Learner Standards Apply

 

Students who wish to transition from certificate programs into degree programs must reapply to the University and meet the regular Middle Georgia State University admissions standards.
