ITEC 6710 Statistical Data Analysis
This course teaches fundamentals of statistical analysis including how to evaluate statistical information, perform data analyses, and interpret and communicate analytical results. Students will learn how to use R for statistical analysis, data visualization, and report generation. Topics covered include descriptive statistics, central tendency, exploratory data analysis, probability theory, discrete and continuous distributions, statistical inference, correlation, linear regression, hypothesis tests and selected contemporary statistical concepts.
