MATH 4146 Geometry for P-5 Teachers
Topics include plane figures, polygons and tessellations, space figures, symmetric figures, systems of measurement, area and perimeter, volume and surface area, congruence and similarity mappings, and topological mappings. Instructional adaptations for students with special needs, formal and informal assessment strategies, and creative uses of teaching tools such as manipulatives will be presented.
