BIOL 4323K Marine Biology

This course is an introduction to marine biology/marine science.  Biological concepts will be reviewed in light of the marine environment with specific emphasis on physical properties of seawater, movement of ocean waters, plate tectonics, organism structure and function, ecosystem composition, marine resources and human impacts on the ocean.  Students are required to attend at least one field trip.
