MATH 0988 Foundations for Mathematical Modeling

A study of the essential algebraic concepts and applications required for success in MATH 1101: Introduction to Mathematical Modeling. Topics may include properties of real numbers, operations with algebraic expressions, linear equations and inequalities in a single variable, operations with polynomials, quadratic equations, graphs of linear and quadratic equations in two variables, and applications of linear and quadratic equations.
