ACCT 5100 Managerial Accounting

Prerequisites: Acceptance into the program; ACCT 2101 and ACCT 2102 or equivalent

This course provides a framework that emphasizes the role of accounting information for decision-making by managers. The course focuses upon the internal use of accounting for management planning, control and decision-making. Topics include cost accumulation systems, cost management, budgeting, and capital budgeting. (Note: this course may not be taken for credit by Accounting Majors)
