MATH 1113 Precalculus Mathematics

This course is an intensive study of the basic functions needed for the study of calculus. Topics include algebraic, functional, and graphical techniques for solving problems with algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their inverses.

Prerequisite

At least a C in MATH 1111; or an SAT Mathematics score of 570 or higher on the "old" SAT; or an SAT Mathematics score of 29.5 or higher on the "new" SAT Math test; or an ACT Mathematics score of 25 or higher; or other appropriate placement scores as approved by the department.
