Stackable: Stand-alone certificate; completion provides eligibility to apply for the Master of Arts in Technical and Professional Writing and completed certificate coursework may count toward that degree if approved.

Program Overview
This certificate provides graduate coursework in technical writing and digital communication. It is appropriate as a stand-alone credential or as preparation for students who may later pursue graduate work in technical and professional writing.

Admission Requirements
Applicants should meet the general admissions requirements for graduate certificate applicants and these additional program-specific requirements: (i) Professional resume.

Program Format
The program is a fully online 15-credit-hour curriculum taught in 8-week sessions. It may be taken as a stand-alone credential or used as a pathway toward the MATPW, subject to program approval.
